Amiel Gross, Esq. is General Counsel for The Discovery Labs Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Mr. Gross joined from Saint-Gobain where he spent several years as in-house Corporate Counsel handling a diverse portfolio of high-profile legal matters in the health and safety space. Prior to Saint-Gobain, Mr. Gross practiced law in the pharmaceutical sector for over a decade in the New York offices of two global elite law firms, Dentons US LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. His clients in private practice included Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Lederle Labs and American Home Products (predecessor to Pfizer). Mr. Gross earned his JD (juris doctorate) degree from The University of Texas School of Law where he attended on an NCAA academic scholarship. As an undergraduate at Southwestern University, Mr. Gross was an NCAA All-American collegiate baseball player and graduated with high honors and Phi Beta Kappa.
